The Angels made a flurry of transactions before Saturday night's game against the A's, recalling right-handed reliever Akeel Morris and infielder Ryan Schimpf and optioning right-hander Parker Bridwell and infielder Nolan Fontana to Triple-A Salt Lake.
The Angels continued to pare down their roster Thursday, optioning right-handers Parker Bridwell and Nick Tropeano, infielders Kaleb Cowart and Nolan Fontana and catcher Juan Graterol to Triple-A Salt Lake.

2015Spent his entire season at Triple A Fresno appearing in a career-high 117 games...also tied career highs with 21 doubles and six triples...finished his season ranking second in the Pacific Coast League with 74 walks, trailing only Memphis' Dean Anna (77)...started games at four different positions for the Grizzlies: shortstop (52g), second base (30g), third base (23g) and left field (1g)...posted a .273 (33x121) average with a .413 OBP against left-handed pitching...made his second career postseason appearance and played in nine games for Fresno during their Triple A Championship run...hit .241 (7x29) with a .405 OBP and eight walks in his nine contests.
